On one of the hottest days ever recorded in Mojave, our sounding rocket hit the desert sand at mach 1 and broke into pieces. The parachutes didn't open. Why? Because we couldn't test enough. Why? We lost valuable time battling our test equipment. We think it's crucial not to get sidetracked by test equipment. We'll keep heading to the desert to build products that ensure this.
